The cast of Coming To America 2 has been confirmed and we are loving every one in the list! This sequel to the 1988 movie will star most of its key cast like Eddy Murphy, James Earl Jones, Arsenio Hall , Paul Bates among others. Adding to this cast are Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, and KiKi Layne.
Snipes will play a new character named General Izzi, the ruler of a neighboring nation, while Layne will play Prince Akeem’s daughter.
Coming to America is a comedy flick about an extremely pampered African Prince. Who travels to Queens, New York, and goes undercover in search of wife that he can respect for her intelligence and will. The movie was a huge box office success that garnered a whooping sum of $288,752,301 in its worldwide run.
We can only hope the sequel ups the ante with a more ground breaking performances and success.
Other additions to the cast include Jermaine Fowler, who will essay the character of Prince Akeem’s long-lost son, Rick Ross, Teyana Taylor, and comedian Michael.
